Find out more about QIMA Skinpharma
Who is QIMA Skinpharma/CPCAD?
Founded in 1996 by Dr. Catherine Queille-Roussel (Dermatologist/Pharmacologist) and Mr. Luc Duteil (Biophysician) at Nice University Hospital, Skinpharma pioneered Phase I/IIa clinical studies on topical drugs.
The center has developed recognized expertise in the field of customized testing and photobiology. Thanks to a multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art equipment, it has distinguished itself through its ability to design and implement tailor-made experimental protocols, perfectly adapted to the specific needs of its industrial and academic partners.
In 2024, Skinpharma was acquired by QIMA and integrated into QIMA Life Sciences, offering the pharma and cosmetic industries a global solution across the entire skin and hair value chain: from in vitro and ex-vitro testing to clinical research.
A CRO specialized in Clinical Trials Phase I/II
Today, QIMA Skinpharma is a niche, full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO), specialized in:
• Clinical trials in dermatology (prevention and treatment of skin diseases) of topical drugs and medical device.
• Dermo-cosmetic studies (enhancing skin comfort and aesthetics) and food supplements
• Both types of studies with combined procedures (laser, injection, etc.)
Our Partnerships
In France, QIMA Skinpharma collaborates with several investigation centers, most notably with the CPCAD (Centre de Pharmacologie Clinique Appliquée à la Dermatologie), located within Nice University Hospital in collaboration with Prof. Thierry Passeron as Scientific Advisor.
