DPF-0002Dermal papilla is located at the base of the hair follicle and dermal papilla fibroblasts play a role in regulating hair development and growth. They would play a role as a reserve of pluripotent stem cells. The purpose of this assay is to evaluate the stimulating or inhibiting effects of compounds (molecules, active ingredients, extracts, etc.) on the proliferation of human hair follicle dermal papilla fibroblasts by incorporating BrdU (a structural analog of thymidine) and photometric measurement.
